L’Auberge du Pont de Rethondes with Chef Ludovic Colpart
Just one hour from Paris and calm of the Picardy countryside, L’Auberge du Pont de Rethondes is owned for a year by Chef Ludovic Colpart. During 28 years, the charming restaurant located at Rethondes was headed by Michelin starred Chef Alain Blot. He has been replaced by this talented Chef known for going through the kitchens of several famous restaurants in Oise and to prepare the gourmet dinner of charity restaurant L’éphémère in favor of Croq L’espoir association. Ludovic Colpart no secret of his ambitions, winning a Michelin star and the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2015.
Cucumber Tartar and Beet Mousse
Lobster Ravioles and Seasonal Vegetables
Low Temperature cooked Veal and Lobster Raviole
Turbot and Monkfish like a Bouillabaisse
Robuchon style Purée
Cassis Declination and Chocolate from Cuba
Should Go ? This experience at L’Auberge du Pont de Rethondes has been lackluster. A beautiful environment, perfect for a sunny lunch, but service was distant. Same feeling about cooking. The Chef has a great technique and does everything to make it shows. However, despite quality products and visually beautiful dishes, I was indifferent to this cuisine that emphasizes aesthetics to the detriment of quality flavorings. We’ll soon see if the Michelin inspectors have more emotion than me …
With ? For a romantic dinner.
Go Back ? If I’m in the area I would still be curious to taste the bistronomique menu which is probably a good deal.
Expensive ? There’s something for every budget through menus to all rates. À la Carte, we quickly climbed to 100 € per person. I thought it was expensive.

Résumé : Held 28 years by the Michelin starred chef Alain Blot, L'Auberge du Pont de Rethondes is now owned by the Chef Ludovic Colpart. Rethondes located in the Oise, the restaurant enjoys a peaceful and pleasant setting for a gourmet break . Chef demonstrated fine technique including sauces and brings a lot of attention to the plates for some impressive compositions. However, despite beautiful products, cooking lack of feelings and relegates the subtlety and originality flavorings in favor of aesthetics in my opinion too flashy. Expect to pay about 100 € à la Carte. Menu from 29 € to 82 €.
