Dix-Huit and and original fusion cuisine of Chef Aaron Isip

Recently opened in the 17th, the restaurant Dix-Huit is the brainchild of Julien Peret. For his gourmet project, he recruited a talented Chef in the person of Aaron Isip. This young Chef has traveled to the four corners of the world and made a stop in the kitchen of beautiful parisian references like Apicius, Ze Kitchen Galerie and Drouant. Like Chef William Ledeuil, Chef Aaron Isip combines french techniques with asian flavors to offer a singular and mixed cuisine. Typically the style of cuisine that always stirs my curiosity !

Should Go ? I don’t usually recommend a restaurant after one visit but we must confess that this lunch excited me. The cuisine of Chef Aaron Isip is one that marks the palate. Dix-Huit still requires some adjustments on the menu and portions but I hope you’ll be charmed by the powerful and fusion food of this young talented Chef.

With ? For lunch or dinner with a few selected gourmet travelers.

Go Back ? I don’t often cross all Paris to eat in an restaurant but I’m willing to do it for Dix-Huit ! Seriously, I furiously want to discover more.

Expensive ? The lunch menu at 24 € is unbeatable (19 € without dessert). A la Carte, it takes about 45 €. Due to the portions, the food quality and the neighborhood, it’s still a pretty good deal.
