Fine Breton Cuisine at l’Auberge du Roi Gradlon

After l’Auberge du 15, Chef Nicolas Castelet creates a second Auberge inspired by the region of legendary Gradlon King. For this fine breton cuisine’s restaurant, he needed a child in the country and is particularly associated with Chef Antoine Bertho. Trained at Atelier de Joël Robuchon, he worked previously in the kitchens of Le Sauvage in the 8th arrondissement.

Should go ? I must say that this gourmet interpretation of Breton cuisine is particularly exciting. Juggling with traditional recipes and original creations using fine local produces from Bretagne, L’Auberge du Roi Gradlon seduced. With the new outdoor terrace, all the assets together to make one of my favorite places in the neighborhood this summer.

With ? I go with my parents for a quiet meal and also with foreign friends to discover the Breton cuisine.

Go back ? Sure !

Expensive ? 24 € for the lunch menu and 68 € for the menu tasting in 5 services. I think these prices are adjusted. With a well built menu, it’s 45 € minimum per person and 100 € if you want more expensive products.
