Hélène Darroze Restaurant in Le Salon d’Hélène
I come back to our French cuisine, to talk about the famous Hélène Darroze’s Restaurant. Crowned with several stars in Paris, London and Moscow, the Chef from Pays Basque is one of the most famous women Chef in France with Anne-Sophie Pic. His Parisian restaurant, located Rue d’Arras in the 6th arrondissement, is divided into three original places, La Salle à Manger which is the starred gourmet restaurant, Le Salon d’Hélène which is a tapas restaurant and finally Le Boudoir. I propose today to discover Le Salon d’Hélène. It serves the same food in the gourmet restaurant but in smaller portions and the service wants less stuffy.
Should go ? I recommend it. I find the idea of offering the sophisticated cuisine in tapas at reasonable prices rather interesting.
With ? For a small romantic dinner, the setting is ideal. Try tables with sofas to change.
Go back ? Yes I’ll return, more at Le Salon than at La Salle à Manger.
Expensive ? From my point of view, if we stick to the tasting menu at 85€ , it’s quite reasonable. In contrast, wine and cheese are really expensive.
