Le BAT, Tartars & Tapas Bar at Grands Boulevards
Since october 2013, Le BAT made a big hit on the Grands Boulevards. The restaurant designed by the group Dîners d’Eloïse was nevertheless a risky gamble. Amid many tourists restaurants, Le BAT and its uninhibited gourmet cuisine clashes but quickly convinces the white collar. In the kitchen, there is the young Chef Yariv Berreby, previously at KGB and trained with Chefs Yannick Alleno and William Ledeuil.
Salmon ravioles, Bouillon with white Asparagus and celery
Shrimp Tartar, Green apple and Peppermint
Pork Croquettes, Sweet chilli Condiment
Braised Duck Leg and Cranberry
Grilled Squid and Citrus Condiment
Sablé Breton with Thai Basil, Candied Rhubarb, Strawberry Mousse and Sorbet
Should go ? Le BAT is right on the mark with its original concept and refreshing cuisine. The neighbourhood lacked an ambitious restaurant like this one. Le BAT took the risk to anchor in the middle of an junk food ocean and it works ! I find it quite reassuring …
With? The place is suitable for many situations and you can go there as well your sweetheart or a small group of friends.
Go Back ? Frequently.
Expensive ? I don’t think so. 25 € for lunch for the neighborhood, there is nothing to say. While at dinner, the restaurant could have become elitist fine-dining place, it remains fully accessible with its tapas less than 10 €. By sharing plates, count 35 € per person.

Résumé : The new BAT made a big hit on the Grands Boulevards since last year. In the kitchen, there is the young chef Yariv Berreby, previously at KGB and trained with Chef William Ledeuil. With its original concept and refreshing cuisine, BAT is right on the mark. 25 € for the full lunch menu. About 35 € for dinner for a hearty meal. I have a crush on this place.
