Via Tokyo, a paradise for Matcha lovers
Via Tokyo is undoubtedly the biggest hit of the food last year in Hong Kong. Imagined by the successful restaurant owner Kosei Kamatani, Via Tokyo looks like a paradise for Matcha lovers in offering an impressive variation of desserts and cafes decorated with fine green tea powder. And the Japanese businessman is smart because Matcha lovers in Hong Kong, isn’t it missing ! Since its opening, the address is stormed by hordes of hungry attracted by a flood of appetizing pictures of ice cream on social networks and blogs.

Should go ? Matcha addicts must go at Via Tokyo. For a small ice cream, it is also perfect and you avoided the queue. Afterwards, without any chauvinism, I advise you rather finish your meal in a Hong Kong desserts restaurant 😉
With ? Your little cousins.
Go back ? Possible, but they see me more often in Cong Sao Star Dessert not far away.
Expensive ? About 5 HKD for one dessert. It’s a little more expensive than HK desserts restaurant but the products used are good and the portions are generous.

Résumé : Imagined by the successful restaurateur Kosei Kamatani, Via Tokyo looks like a paradise for Matcha lovers in offering an impressive variation of desserts and cafes decorated with fine green tea powder. Situated on Leighton Road, the new address draws crowds since its opening. Although Matcha is not my cup of tea, the traditional Japanese desserts revisited the Via Tokyo are very attractive. The setting is nice, the presentations are neat and the products are well chosen, everything is for the Via Tokyo continues its long road yet.
