Hong Kong Desserts landed in Paris
In Hong Kong, desserts restaurants are many. There are all kinds but the most common form is restaurant specializing in sweet soups 糖水 Tong Seoi like Cong Sao Star Dessert. This concept has long since crossed the Hong Kong borders and finds its audience in London and New York. Since this summer, it finally comes to Paris with the new Guimi House Established in the 3rd arrondissement, Guimi House offers a very girly version of the desserts restaurant (Guimi 闺蜜 means Girlfriend).
Mango Smoothie
Mango Pancakes
Mango Soup, Pomelo & Sago
Coconut & Mango Jelly
Five Treasures Soup
Should Go ? If like me you regret the lack of Hong Kong desserts restaurants in Paris, we must not wait for a ride to Guimi House. Of course the choice is limited and the ingredients are less qualitative but some desserts are successful and may you, just for a short moment, think back fond memories of Hong Kong.
With ? Young friends.
Go Back ? Certainly. I’ll come back for desserts with mango and I really want to taste the sesame cream desserts and their Milk tea.
Expensive ? Approximately 5 € per dessert. This is reasonable.
